The wise Man
A wise man in this context is the person that sees danger coming and runs away for his dear life. A wise man is always taking bold steps to issues. For example, Jonah 3:1-2. Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time saying, "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I sent you." (Their wickedness has come up before me). Verse 5. So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. I want you to see what happened next, and it will happen to you as a wise man of these days. Verse 10. Then God saw their works that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it. You can see that the people of Nineveh are wise. Through their wisdom they humbled themselves before the Lord and obtained the mercy of the Lord. So shall yours be, if only you will be wise - Amen.
Hebrews 10:31. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Beloved, if you fall into the hands of men, God will deliver you; if you fall into the hands of the devil and his demons, God will also deliver you. But when you fall into the hands of the Almighty God, my friend, who will deliver you? No one, but Jesus. Be wise with Him today, for He is your best wisdom.
Also in Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment; Be assured of this that this same Jesus you rejected now you must stand before Him in judgment on the judgment day. Acts 4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It is good to be wise now. This destruction will meet many people, because the Bible said, in John 3:18. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. My friend, can you be wise for once by running away from this unavoidable destruction that must come upon any one that has rejected JESUS CHRIST as his Lord and Personal SAVIOUR.
Lastly but not the least, Jesus said in John 6:37. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will by no means cast out. Beloved, this means that He accepts you as you decide to come to Him now. No matter how far you have gone away from Him; No matter what sin you have committed. Yes, He does not care how heavy your sin is. It has been said by God through His prophet; Isaiah 55:7. Says, Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. HE has said to you, just come your sins will be a thing of the past.
God bless you as you make this WISE decision that will save you from the dangers of everlasting punishment in Jesus name – Amen.
